Two noteworthy developments from the report:
- Certificates of Insurance: HB 1322, the NCOIL Model bill–which specifies requirements related to a certificate of insurance issued in connection with property, operations, or risks located in Indiana–passed the House Floor by a vote of 97-0.
- Department of Insurance: The comprehensive Indiana Department of Insurance Bill, HB 1321, passed out of the full House by a vote of 95-0. The bill was amended on the House Floor to include some technical changes to the standard valuation law to make the bill more compatible with the NAIC version.
